The International Liszt Competition - Budapest is a music festival that encourages artistic development among young musicians by offering an international arena for all participants to perform and showcase their musical talents. Through performance, evaluation, and interactions, participants share knowledge, build confidence, and prepare better for their artistic and lifelong pursuits.
The festival embraces diversity; therefore, we welcome participants around the globe to participate. Indeed, the festival has preliminary rounds in different parts of the world, including Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Hungary, and more. It serves as a platform for participants to step out of their comfort zones and connect with more music enthusiasts abroad through music.
The festival seeks the high standards of both juries and participants. Juries are professional, experienced, and diverse with backgrounds, while participants are outstanding in order to advance to the final round of the competition.
